Little Nest Preschool opened in 2010 with a vision of creating a premiere learning environment for preschool aged children, convenient all day care for working families, and a quality workplace for early childhood educators. In the Fall of 2014 we moved into our first commercial location at 3459 Jet Drive, and in June of 2017 we expanded to our secondary location at 2220 5th Street. September 2019 we opened our first child care and learning center to provide one convenient location for families with children ages 6 weeks- 12 years.
We work closely with the Rapid City School District as well as area child development specialists to ensure our students will thrive in kindergarten. We offer staff training career pathways with an excellence program second to none through South Dakota State University to ensure our staff is not only highly educated, stays on trend with child development theory and best practice, but also have opportunity to develop their leadership and professionalism goals.
There are many quality preschools to choose from in Rapid City, however Little Nest Preschool is the ONLY specialized preschool facility, not a church, or a gymnasium, or a daycare center, and we offer additional convenience for working families by offering care and education Monday-Friday, 6:45 am- 5:30 pm. Little Nest Child Care provides excellent preschool education as well as a safe, inviting learning environment for infants and toddlers.
